The Anamorphic Garden of Paris
As part of an art show, Paris’ City Hall had a pretty amazing garden installed. Designed by François Abelanet, it uses anamorphosis to play games with the viewer’s perspective.
The effect however looks quite different if you look at it from other angles.
M. Abelanet’s other works also play with perspective, and are quite fascinating, check it out!

Ahhhh! Real Monsters!
Hydrothermal worms are deep sea creatures that are largely found near hydrothermal vents in the ocean. Incredibly, the above photograph is zoomed in 525 times to capture the bacterial-sized worms — one of the smallest living creatures on the planet. The width of the field in the image is 568μm, or 568/1000 of a millimeter.

Eighty Years Of Cartoon Voices
Mickey Mouse first arrived to movie theaters and television screens in 1928, starting America’s love affair with cartoons. What’s secretly astounding is how many of the most recognizable animated characters are voiced by the same actors (for instance, Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer voice almost half of the voices of the Simpsons).
